Health:TB patients are given financial assistance of Rs 500 per month under Nikshay Nutrition Scheme

Health news: Patna.Bettiah, 30 October/ TB is a serious communicable disease. It spreads through contact with patients. It spreads through mucus, spit, cough, sneeze etc. of patients. Due to this disease, the immunity of the patients starts decreasing. If a patient has TB, symptoms like cough with mucus for more than 2 weeks, fever, continuous weight loss and night sweats are seen. When such symptoms appear, the sputum of patients in government hospitals is tested free of cost through CBNET. This test detects TB or MDR TB. Which facilitates the treatment of patients. These things were told by the civil surgeon of the district, Dr. Shrikant Dubey. He informed that 5,112 TB patients are undergoing treatment at the health centers of the district. He said that TB can occur in many parts of the body. Like chest, lungs, neck, stomach etc. It is very important to get TB tested at the right time. Only then can we be saved from this serious disease.
